Hello, my name is SFC Kyle M. Farmer, and I am writing to introduce myself. I am a decorated veteran and served close to 25 years in the military. I began my military career at 17 years of age in the Marine Corps and served 8 years. After my service in the Marines, I went to work as a civilian as a heavy equipment operator for 10 years. I then continued my military career in the Army and Army reserves. My experience while enlisted includes infantry, mortarman, Marine Corps Security Forces, equal opportunity trainor, DARNS NCO, convoy commander, observer, controller, trainer. I have held other positions with various units. I am currently a CDL A truck driver for a local company in Grove, OK. I have excellent management and leadership skills and consider myself to be initiative-taking. I strive to succeed in all aspects of my life. I am looking forward to securing a position that enables me to grow professionally and allows me to exhibit my variety of skills.

    Duties Description:
    Operates all wheel vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways for support of combat operations; manage entrucking and detrucking of personnel being transported; oversees and checks proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers; secure cargo against inclement weather, pilferage and damage; operates vehicle component material handling equipment (MHE), as required; employs land navigation techniques; must be knowledgeable of tactical automated communications systems and weapons when they are mounted on the vehicle; corrects and reports all vehicle deficiencies.

    Duties Description:
    The mortarmen is responsible for the tactical employment of the 60mm light mortar and the 81mm medium mortar. Mortarmen provide indirect fire in support of the rifle and LAR squads/platoons/companies and the infantry and LAR battalions. They are located in the weapons platoons of the rifle and LAR companies and the weapons company of the infantry battalion. Noncommissioned officers are assigned as mortar gunners, forward observers, fire direction plotters, and squad and section leaders.
